Description
Micranthocereus auriazureus, also known as Micranthocereus auri–azureus, is a columnar cactus with stems that emerge near the base,forming a large clump. The stems are green with many shallow closely spaced ribs lined with dense cluster of golden spines.The can glow upto 4 feet tall and 3 inches in diameter.
The flowers of this specie are always pink on the outside and white in the center.
Environment
Like most cacti they’re drought tolerant and need very little care and attention to grow well. Not enough sunlight and over-watering are common mistakes.
Plenty of sunshine will keep this cacti more than happy. In a glass room you may have to provide some shade during a hot summers day to prevent sunburn.
They should be fertilized during their growing season in the summer with a good oragnic fertilizer.

It is an excellent plant for garden rockery settings, desert type landscapes & Terrariums
