Japanese marimo moss balls are actually freshwater algae (Cladophora aegagropila). They are soft, fuzzy and super easy to care for. The size will vary but will average around 1-2″ in diameter. Only needs artificial or indirect light and a water change every 2-3 weeks. No direct sun or fertilizer. Marimos can live for over a hundred years and they grow about 0.5cm per year.

Comes as an easy kit. with a glass bowl, 2 marimo moss balls, wood sticks, pebbles, and stone chips. You can assemble them in under 30 mins and let the little guy go swimming.
